If you are new here, welcome! This is a two-year old newsletter I started to share the things I was learning in my global travels supporting startups at AWS. The more likely case, though, is that you have been following me on LinkedIn or subscribe to the newsletter I was sending over Beehiiv by the same name.
When I launched this newsletter, the idea was to provide real perspectives and insights into what startups are doing to build thriving, scalable businesses. Going behind the glossy success stories, I wanted to share what is really working (and not working) for startups in the hopes that these insights can help founders avoid the pitfalls that many startups face.
Now I am a startup founder again, so this newsletter is even more personal now. What I write here will be the things I am experiencing, both the struggles and the successes. I will share what I think can be broadly useful for startup founders and others that are in startups. Maybe even some the corporate and government folks can pick up a few useful tactics and strategies.
While I may not publish new entries as frequently as I had in the past, I also do not plan to be a stranger. I also want to hear from you, the things you like that I write about as well as requests you have for content. Even though a newsletter a broadcast out to an audience, I hope this can be more of a community where we can share the best ideas, insights, and stories so that we can learn together.
